Arranging a Visit

Norton Priory offers different types of visits. All school groups must book in advance to qualify for special education rates and to book lunch spaces.

Sessions are available from 10 am or 12.30 pm every weekday.

Independent Visits
If you book an Independent Visit, you can use the Museum and Gardens as you wish, organising and managing your own day.

Self Led Option
We offer a number of sessions that can be done as a Self Led Option. This enables you to visit different parts of the site, using special resources and guides. These include the Sculpture Trail, the Woodland Trail, the Museum and the Walled Garden.

Workshop Sessions
These sessions are led by Norton Priory staff and cover a range of historical, art and environmental subjects, with informative and interactive activities.  Sessions last 1 hour 15 minutes. Early Years Sessions last 1 hour.

An introductory talk—’Priory: Past & Present’ is available instead of a workshop.
