The Victorian Garden
Investigate the ‘goings on’ in the garden with the Brooke family gardener. He will guide your class through the garden and involve them in his daily routine. Plant seeds, wash pots, prepare soil and pick fruit! (depending on the time of year)

Water Detectives
Collect, observe and identify pond life in its natural habitat during a practical pond dipping session. Suitable for classes of approximately 30.
April-September.
Beastly Business
Your class will search for the variety of life in the Walled Garden. They will collect, observe and identify the minibeasts which live there and in the adjoining meadow, woodland and ancient orchard.
April-October.
Plantlife
Pupils will explore the Walled Garden, examining, recording and collecting a variety of plants. Children will see first hand how plants grow and then have a go at planting some themselves.
Woodland Trail
Habitat Trail: Explore the wide variety of wildlife habitats which Norton Priory offers. Can be led by Norton Priory staff, or Self Led using our easy to follow guides and workbooks.
