Uncover the Hidden Histories!

This fascinating new exhibition at Norton Priory explores some of the hidden stories of people with disabilities at Norton Priory, past and present.

Norton Priory has a large collection of skeletons, and these skeletons speak to us in the present day of people living in the Medieval period with a range of disabilities, often caused by disease.

Volunteers and community groups have used this as a starting point to investigate themes of disability, identity and the body.

The interactive exhibition explores ideas about disability, perception, healing and identity, using medieval objects and skeletons, specially created artworks and modern media.
