The Evocative Nature of Plants - part 1: Herbs

Date: Sunday 26th February, 10am-12.30pm

Mindfulness is not only a form of meditation, but it is also a daily practice and a way of life. Using the scent of herbs harvested at the Priory last year, along with our other senses to evaluate their personal influence, we will explore the evocative nature of these plants. We will also be delving into the imagery, history and properties herbs, before working in a meditative space to be mindful of how we respond to each one. Each participant will be able to mix their own personal blend of herbs to take home with them to refresh their home after the dark winter months.

This is the first of a series of workshops exploring mindfulness and plants with Mima Cornish of HedgeRose Healing, part of Norton Priory' Mindful Museum activities.

Tickets are £15, or £12 for members
