Welcome to the Walled Garden Wise Women's Herb Trail
Date: From Sunday 10th March
To celebrate the opening of the Walled Garden and Mother's Day enjoy a special trail featuring beautiful pyrography artwork to show the amazing qualities of herbs.
This trail is inspired by medieval 'Wise Women' who cared for their communities using local and natural remedies including herbs and minerals. This was especially important in rural communities and their role as 'healers' and understanding of herbs had made them highly valued members of societies and would have helped many lives.
Pick up your trail sheet from the shed at the Walled Garden.
This activity is suitable for adults and children and is included in general admission price (and free for members of Norton Priory Museum and Gardens). Prior booking not necessary, however advance general admission tickets can be booked here for a discount.
