Museum of the Moon @ Norton PrioryDate: Selected weekday evenings throughout October 2021
Come and view Norton Priory Museum in a whole new light, as night falls and the Museum of the Moon installation takes centre stage in the museum's atrium. This is part of Celebrate Halton Borough of Culture 2021.
You will have the opportunity to experience the moon from ground level and also to view it from the mezzanine, between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm, on selected weekdays during October.
As well as viewing the Moon, which will be lit from within, you will also have the opportunity to explore the medieval Undercroft and the two museum galleries during your time at the site.
Please note that outside spaces will be closed at this time.
If you have purchased tickets to visit the museum during the day on the selected Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, there is no need to purchase tickets for these evening viewing sessions. Simply keep your day visitor ticket and we'll be more than happy to let you see the Moon after dark as part of your weekday ticket booking.
Tickets for these special Moon viewing sessions are available at the Art Tickets website. Tickets range from £2.50 for children to £4.00 for adults, with free tickets for members of the museum, children aged 0 - 3 and carers.
