Animal Teach return to Norton Priory this month for another fantastic hands-on animal encounter experience at their monthly Zoology Club! This is sensory-led workshop where children can meet fascinating animals in a calm, supportive environment. 

This month's theme is Trainee Zookeeper!

There are three different sessions to choose from based on your age:

10:15am - 11:15am - Mini Zoologist (ages 4 - 7yrs) - SOLD OUT

11:45am - 12:45pm - Young Zoologist (ages 8 - 11yrs) - Limited Availability

1:15pm - 2:15pm - Junior Zoologist (ages 12 - 15yrs) - Limited Availability

In partnership with Heathfields Orchards, Norton Priory offers a practical and theory-based workshop on summer fruit tree pruning. The workshop uses the Norton Priory orchards to provide practical hands-on experience, with expert tuition and guidance. The workshops are designed to be both educational and enjoyable, making them an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their knowledge and skills in fruit tree care. 

If you have ever wanted to try pottery but have never had the chance, or if you have given it a go in the past but couldn't keep up with equipment and materials costs, these sessions might just be for you!

At each session you will join Courtney from Woolyback Crafts and have the opportunity to learn and try new pottery techniques, from basic hand-building principles to wheel throwing!

These free sessions are available to adults (18+) with a Halton Borough Council postcode. Complete beginners are completely welcome!

Join the Norton Priory Ranger for a walk through the Museum Woodland to discover the wildlife of Norton Priory after dusk. We will be using bat detectors to help us find these nocturnal friends.

The evening will begin with a talk on bats by Tony Parker, and include fun bat craft activities for children.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear appropriate footwear.
